Interschool Sport

BTC hosted the regular Interschool sport competition on Sunday 31 May, taking on All Souls St Gabriels in rugby league and netball.

The 13’s boys went down to ASSG with Louie Johnstone selected as the Best and Fairest player for his team. With some of the 13’s players backing up for the 14’s team, they dug deep and scored a win 12-6. Best and Fairest player went to Jack Donaldson. Once again we had some 14’s backing up in the 15’s team which unfortunately went down to ASSG.

Good play by Mitch Fogarty and a try to John Pryke but it was Keto Bige who took away the Best and Fairest award. The 1sts game was a real nail biter to the end. Half time saw BTC up 6-0 after a run away try by Veau Godeau.

Second half saw BTC working hard to keep the ball down their end but an intercept by ASSG had the scores locked in at 6 all. Both teams worked hard to gain any extra points with BTC supporters cheering when Veau made a quick run through to gather the kicked ball. Good back up saw Fred Bulsey cross for a try only to have the ball called back to where it was ruled Veau was in front of the kicker…….but it was pretty play boys….the crowd loved it! The game ended with a draw 6 all. Great game boys. You can be proud of it. Best and Fairest went to Brodie Land.
